Hi,
My current WIN 10 HTPC setup includes an ASUS P8P67-M PRO motherboard with i5-2300 CPU, 16G of RAM and a GT 610 nvidia card.

Although my current projector (BENQ 1070) is only 1080p, I want to start upgrading my HTPC for full 4k 60hz playback with Dolby Atmos.

What Graphics card should I buy?
I understand that the P8P67-M PRO is a 2.0 PCIe so I should only buy 2.0 compatible cards, but which one?

I have no interest in 4K gaming so if there's a cheaper option, I'll probably take it.

An Nvidia GT1050 has their recent video core so it can hardware encode & decode 4K media.

They sell for around £120-140 and most (not all) come with a HDMI 2.0 port, this Gigabyte model does come with HDMI 2.0 port and doesn't require any extra power cable just a 300W PSU.

Maybe there are cheaper options than that, not sure, possibly something in AMD camp.
