You sound like you are upgrading an existing system, few things to watch
1.when the old mainboard is removed, triple check no existing metal stand offs (the parts the mainboard securing screws go into) will all line up correcty with the screw holes on the new mainboard.
2. make sure your exising power supply has the correct type/amount of connectors.
3. the new mainboard is the correct size to fit into the existing space(atx/uATX/itx etc/
4. try and organise it so the new cpu/board/cooler/ram are all toggether and if you can connect and test outside the case for easy access and troubleshooting before installing. |
