WMP won't rip CD

Hello.

I'm having a problem with my desktop where it won't rip certain CDs. They are real, not pirated CDs.
I can get some to work but others won't with no obvious explanation as to why so I've recorded a short video of what happens
                               
Does anyone have any idea what is happening here and how I can fix it? It was fine last week.

Check the CDs for scratches/wear. Does the actual CD play? It may be a hardware problem with the optical drive. As the drives start to wear the laser has trouble reading the tracks. If possible try the disk with a different optical drive
