What laptop £250 budget

Hi one of my foster sons has a voucher for £250 for a lap top

He’s 16 next week will be used web browsing homework etc
Not bothered size resolution just best bang for buck

Has to be from mainstream retailers not eBay etc.

Any advice appreciated.

Laptops at this price are significantly cut down to achieve the last bit of savings, so they're all rather poor value for money.

You're looking for a minimum of 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, ideally 120GB or more. Avoid any machine with 32GB of storage or 2GB of memory.
