Laptop recommendation required. Budget around £650.

Hi,

I'm looking for some recommendations for a laptop. It will be the main computer in the house and will be mostly used for MS office and adobe creative cloud apps. I'd also like to be able to run quadcopter flight sims, such as Liftoff and Velocidrone so might need some more GPU power than what is on the chipset. I mostly play games on console, so I'm not intending to be playing the latest AAA games (although maybe the odd indie title)

I'd like a 15.6" (min) 1080p screen. (Matte IPS panel preferred). I do have an external monitor (HP LP2475W) that I would use as a second screen occasionally.

8GB RAM (ideally the system would take more for future upgrades)

256GB SSD would be good.

I'd want a recent i5 if poss, but not averse to comparable Ryzen machine.

Battery life isn't massively important, as it will primarily be used in the home and there is always a power socket nearby.

I'd really like a backlit keyboard, if possible.

Budget would be around £650.
