I've been on a bargain hunt, and have ended up with the following parts to build a basic PC to watch movies on, with the potential to upgrade it for gaming in future :-

PCPartPicker part list: System Builder - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core, Define R5 Blackout Edition ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker United Kingdom
Price breakdown by merchant: System Builder - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core, Define R5 Blackout E... - Prices By Merchant - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£82.99 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-U12S SE-AM4 CPU Cooler  (£51.27 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3 ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£93.99 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Team - T-Force Dark Pro 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  (£103.69 @ Overclockers.co.uk)
Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo Plus 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive  (£106.98 @ Aria PC)
Case: Fractal Design - Define R3 ATX Mid Tower Case  (£99.95 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Corsair - 750 W 80  Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  (£128.86 @ Box Limited)
Total: £667.73

Picked everything up second hand or on special offer, and already had the case, so it's cost me around £300 all in, seemed to make more sense to me than buying something new with a lower spec for more money.

Anyway, not even sure why I've posted it, just nice to have a PC in the living room again I guess, lol!

It'll do what I need and more, plus there's plenty of scope for future upgrades, a nice 2080ti in there might make it a different beast, lol!

I'm sure it will, those sammy drives are amazing spec, I had to call between the bigger faster drive and the 16GB in my budget, as i use some VMs for various bits the RAM won out
and i figured with my board i can add another 256GB and raid 0 it when i have a bit more cash
