Small portable laptop

Hi everyone. I would like to change my HP Pavillion Notebook 15.6 " ( 8gb memory, 500 gb, i3 2.1 GHz ) for a smaller and more portable laptop. I will then use my current laptop for my new business.

I mainly use my laptop for surfing the web, watching movies ( and storing them ), via hdmi lead to TV, and basic MS office work. I don't do gaming etc.

Please can anyone recommend a laptop that would fit my needs.

Microsoft Surface Pro, or Apple MacBook. Both great machines very light and excellent battery life.

Not too sure if you are still looking for a smaller, more portable laptop. We have a suggestion for yourself;

Microsoft Surface Pro's are an excellent investment and are a good value for money. Do you have a budget in mind?
