i have a Panasonic hc-v250 camcorder and i want to connect it to an external monitor when i connect it to the monitor looks normal but once i go to start recording erases the monitors you know what can be what you want

Not sure I understand.
Do you mean the output to yr TV only feeds until you press Record?
-What does the User Guide say?

There may be a limit to processing both Recording to Memory and sending out TV signals ( via HDMI-is it?).

Quite a few cams cut the video signal when recording. Only the upper end of the consumer cam market provides both recording and a live output. You need to have a HC-V750/770 or 800 for that.

It may be worth checking the A/V out. I used this on my earliest Panasonic HC-V700 to drive a monitor.
If you do not have the cable, take care to order a Canon/Panasonic version. Another version for Sony cameras have a different wiring.
