How to change output settings? JVC Everio GZ-RX645BE

Hi Folks

First time poster and hoping to avail of an expert.

I have a JVC Everio GZ-RX645BE. When the video is complete it's in the format of a MTS file. Is there anyway that the output file can be changed? I know it can be converted for example to WMV but this takes time.

Just had a look at the spec of your camera, & it says it records video in AVCHD format, MTS is an extension of AVCHD file is. Are you using the software supplied with the camera. You could use video pad free to convert it to MP4?
