Hello,
I started a Youtube channel around 6 years ago and upgraded to a Canon VIXIA HF R42 around 5 years ago. I have used a semi-professional camera in the past for the weekend and noticed a smoother image for the $1000-$1500 price tag for the borrowed device. I do not remember what device I had borrowed but for the extra $600-$800 before tax, I did not think it was worth it.
Fast forward to 2019, I see that the R52 in the series looks the same and, surprisingly, seems to have similar specifications as the R42! Did they not bother to upgrade the technology in this line for the last 6 years?!
Any advice on what consumer video camera to get in 2019 would be welcomed. Thank you! |
