Is there a good EPG?

I just got a LG 6950 TV.  Generally it seems quite good, and WebOS seems OK.  But the EPG leaves a lot to be desired.  Every time I open the EPG each channel is shown as 'loading...' for a few seconds, and even once the details are shown if I go up or down a page then the channels on the new page are also 'loading...' for a few seconds.

In my view the EPG is central to the TV and there's no reason why it can't keep a cache of the schedule so that the guide is populated instantly whenever it opens.

So which manufacturer's TVs have the best EPG?  'Best' for me is one that, once initially loaded, will instantly show the programme schedule while refreshing the data in the background.  Of course, it should also be quick to navigate and select channels.
