It's only relatively recent on monitors so hold your breath on the situation long term.
No initial set-up for one container load is expensive, it's not expensive as a general change. It's very cheap as shown by the monitor market when implement overall.
You buy a tv because of the features - this is no difference to any other feature. Dolby vision, HDR, 4K, names for the picture enhancements, processing technology and so one and so on. Most people don't know what half these mean.
Funny thing is if the box said 'Picture Factory Calibrated to to D65 Standard' it's a lot less confusing in terms of what it might mean than much of the other stuff spouted. |
