How do you enable 4k YouTube on TV App?

Hi I have a 4k tv with YouTube smart TV app but how do I enable 4k. It currently tells me if a video is HD resolution in corner before loading video. But not 4k

it depends really, your TV might be 4K enabled but the app built in might not be a 4K app, you really need to post what make/model of TV you have.

With Youtube on most Tv's when you're playing a video bring up the progress bar, then if you click the 3 dots highlight quality and press enter and it will give you a list of options for playback, IF it's a 4K app the option for 2160 should be in the list

Unless TV chipset has VP9 video decoder built in it will not get 4K video, video format used by 4K Youtube is different from 1080p Youtube.
