Kd65xf problem

Ok people  , my brothers  Sony KD65xf got hit by one of his children  in the middle of the  screen,  LCD and now has a white dot that's driving him made , is there a fix .There is a dent in the screen?

There's no fix other than replace the screen (or the TV which may end up being cheaper)
Hope he has insurance.
