Hello,

i want to buy a new tv and tried to inform my self as good as i can. It came to those both mentioned in the title.
Cause of space, money etc. and then there is the technical aspect. What i learned oled is out of my range and there is quantum dot that hold up with oled(maybe) but i would only buy it in series 6 and the tv would have no FALD. Next thing is Dolby Vision, should one go for it at the moment?

So my choices on them where basically Dolby Vison or HDR10  and QLED was also a point. I try to point it down to one question.

Is the Samsung worth it cause of QLED, but in Series 6, with no Dolby Vision and no FALD or should i go for the LG with Dolby Vision and FALD, but no QLED and no HDR10 ?

Or should i completely forget 55 inch go for QE49Q6FN for 700€(a good price i think)?

Greats chris

Check out the Sony xf90. It'll offer better picture quality that both those above for a very similar price.  However you'd lose two full bandwidth HDMI inputs.   If you're only interested in the above models i'd probably lean more towards the lg.  It supports dolby vision which is better quality than hdr 10.  HDR 10 plus is hardly worth mentioning as it's barely any different from HDR 10.  The lg also has a fantastic operating system.  It is suited  more to a bright room however being an IPS panel.
