Best 3D Active Glasses Now Available + Repair Question On Them

I have a Samsung TV and want a good quality rechargeable pair the ones I have are no longer on sale which the make was called 3D Active.
Also I just tried my 3D glasses which are rechargeable but they seem to start taking a charge and then after a few minutes stop so cant use them there very similar to the ones in this repair video.
I may be able to do the soldering but don't know the equipment he using to charge the battery, is there something a normal household would have to do it.
Whats the wire connectors he using to reconnect the battery to the glasses also are them batteries available on sale which look about the size of the plug bit of a USB and 3v-4.2-50mA
