I'm a new comer here. I've owned an Asus ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor for the last 1-2 years. Recently had to RMA it and received 3 units back with terrible BLB. Just this week I've been replaced with the new model PG349Q. The issue I have with it is a possible DSE/uniformity issue but I'm not certain. I describe it as whites and grays (especially Chrome browser) have a yellow tint on the screens right side, about the last quarter of screen. The left is side is bright and clean while the right is slightly tinted.
Is this characteristic of DSE? I'm wondering if the screen needs more break in. It usually takes a week or two for my eyes to adjust to a brand new LED panel but maybe that is part of a new panels break in as well? If the yellow tint remains in the panel I am quite concerned. Any suggestions? The tint seems to shift and reveal some cleanliness when I move my head all the way to right side of the screen which would suggest this is some sort of viewing angle thing but center on there is un-uniformity. |
