Sony Bravia TV Not Turning On

Hey folks,

My Sony Bravia TV (KDL-42W705B) just stopped turning on over the weekend. Have tried checking all the connections and plugging it into a different socket to no avail. I'm also out of warranty.

I've assumed that my power supply is shot. I went on the Sony website and found their "approved" parts supplier 92 results for “kdl 42w705b”

I note that there are a number of different power supplies that it says are "compatible" with a kdl-42w705b. My current power block is a 19.5V 5.2A (and therefore i'd assume 100W?) ACDP-100D01, which is going for a cool £67.69.  I'm just wondering if I can go for the altogether more reasonably priced 120W supply for £31?

Any help/advice is much appreciated.

It should be compatible provided the rated voltage and amperage is the same.
