Another "what is this issue called" question. White strip on edge?

So we just purchased this Sony x800g 75" a few days ago from BB. This morning, I noticed this little strip showing on the right hand side of the panel when the Roku screen saver had just started. My wife said she had seen it yesterday. However, my son started watching some cartoon shows and I didn't notice it after that. I have attached a pic of what it looked like. I am assuming I should take this back and exchange or possibly just get something different? Was also looking at the TCL 6 series 75" as well. I had watched some comparison videos on youtube to where they were comparing the TCL 6 to the sony 950. Any help would be appreciated!

This is using the Sony's built in content sources (TV Tuner, Apps) rather than an external device?

No, it was using the Roku when I saw it, but later on I didn't see it at all. We do not use the internal tuner.
