Evening all

I have a ue48h6400ak which has served me well for the past 5 years, unfortunately the clear surround has started to look a bit tatty and the wife would like to upgrade.
The tv is mounted on the wall recessed in and I have room to go up to 55 inch (left a gap incase of upgrading)
My dilemma is would it be worth upgrading to something like the Samsung UE55RU7020 (don't have the biggest budget at the moment). Would I be getting a better picture than the tv I own already, or would it be better to wait when we have more of a budget and get a mid range tv.
We mainly watch sky, amazon prime and Netflix.
Many thanks
Lee

Forgot to mention I also have seen the hisense 7500 but have seen mixed reviews on reliability.

Whats your budget? If you're around the mid-range, I think its difficult to look past whatever Panasonic LCD offerings they have.  Their PQ and image processing is top notch with support for everything.

If you're at the OLED price range, the B9 is a no brainer.

If you can give us a number, we can easily suggest a model to you.

At the moment it's around the 400 to 500 mark.

If that isn't going to get me a better picture on my tv, I would be willing to wait and save a bit extra money.

As much as I would love to go the oled route, my budget (or wife) wouldn't be able to stretch that far

Thanks
