Cctv extension

Hi, I had installed a few years ago a cctv system from onyx, the dvr has been put in my loft nd all is working well as I can see the cameras via my iPad or laptop.   However I was wondering if I could remote the cameras to my LG smart tv either via hdmi or some other mean.

Advise would be greatly appreciated.

It shouldn't be an issue. As long as the hdmi cable is long enough to reach your TV, it should be fine. The recorder must have a HDMI port (you better check first to see what model your recorder really is), plug the cable in, and you can have the image on screen.

if you can see the cameras via a web browser on your laptop and you can run a web browser on your LG smart tv all you need to know about is the IP address you type into the browser on your LG smart tv
