I’ll be collecting mine from the local Waitrose.
Was a hard decision which colour to go for.

I went for the “grey” as the black top makes the Siri animation look better (looks slightly washed out on the white top in all the images I’ve seen).

The white would have fitted better downstairs but I’m also concerned about it getting grubby (little monsters with jammy / cheesy/ pastafied / chocolatey  fingers)

He hehe good point. So in our kitchen, it will be another grey one. Will go nicely with the worktops anyway. Actually all rooms but my daughters grey will be best for us.

Read the early reviews so decided to go for it.

I’m definitely in the current segment that the HomePod is ideal for. All Apple devices, all music now via Apple Music family sub. I’m also more interested in the HomePods ability to deliver decent sound than I am in the smart features. So it’s a good fit for me.  I’d like it to be able to play internet radio stations via voice control but doing so over AirPlay is good enough.

So, space grey ordered, pick up from local Waitrose tomorrow.

I fear if I like it there will be more.....

Yes, same here. Apple music and all smart devices are home kit compatible. So it will actually be pretty smart for me.
