Hi,

Now I know it's often best to have your home alarm system as a standalone system and not to integrate however my wife is hard of hearing and cannot hear alarms when they go off due to their pitch. My idea is that I could integrate with Hue so that the lights would flash or something should the alarm be triggered.

I've been speaking to an installer that I'm hoping to use and he supplies the Pyronix Enforcer range, has anyone successfully integrated this with something like Home Assistant an on to Hue? I looked for hours on the Internet and can't find anything about integrating this particular alarm.

My other possibility is the Honeywell wireless system, does anyone know the subscription costs for this for me to be able to arm, disarm and check the system status via the app please? Again, can't find anything in the UK.

Thanks,
Reply

Probably too late, but the Yale Easy fit alarm can trigger a Hue scene, when you arm, dis-arm, or trigger the alarm. I have mine make the entire house flash red when the alarm goes off including the outside lights.
