Hello all,
Thank you for taking time to read this.
I have had a Hikvision turbo hd dvr running 2 cameras, the dvr has conked out and i have purchased a NVR, my question is can i run the two cameras from the NVR with some kind of convertor and if so what type would be required.
Thank you
Mick

google coax to ip converter

Might be easier just upgrading the camera's to IP?

Better to upgrade to IP Cameras. There is two typess of IP cameras you are able to use with Hikvision NVR. Hikvision IP Cameras or HiLook IP Cameras. HiLook is sub brand of Hikvision and HiLook IP cameras are available up to 5MP resolution.

Yes you can get TurboHD to IP converters but they will cost as much as 2 new cameras. Your problem will be that you need to replace your coax cable with Cat5e if you replace your cameras. Can I ask why did you buy an IP only NVR when you had turboHD cameras? Surely a hybrid would have been a better choice?
