Swann Camera Failed

I have a Swann NVR8-7400 with NHD-818cam cameras and one of the cameras has died tried all the usual things changed ports changed cable and reset camera and nothing the camera will not fire up, to buy a new one is expensive £100  does anybody know off a compatible camera that will work with this unit.

You could try posting on the Swann Forum, however it's off line at the moment due to maintenance, been that way for nearly two weeks, I'm expecting BIG improvements after being off line for this long.

I normally get good help and feedback on there, albeit slow sometimes.

If you search Google for Swann Camera Compatibility Chart, you'll find a very useful chart which details which cameras will work with which DVRs/NVRs.

Thanks bobby tried all of the above to no avail just thought somebody might have a workaround

The Swann 7400 is the same as a Reolink RLN8-410
The NHD-818 is the same as a Reolink RLC-410
But Swann versions have web interface, ONVIF and RTSP disabled, eg they are enabled in Reolink equals.

You can get a RLC-410 5mp for $40-50 USD delivered from Reolinks website.

You might also want to try the Reolink firmware and software as it is all much updated compared to Swann.
