They are set up to come on a cool white in power on behaviour. Sometimes they come on the default warm white which is annoying. I know there is a safety override so if you switch off and on a few times close together they come on as default warm white, but this isn't happening. After being off for a while, when both turned on together, they will sometimes do this:
I just use them as normal bulbs hence leaving the switch active (I've bought some hue switches so may sort this out) but can then use the smart functionality when it suits me. For instance I can just leave them on when I go to bed and putting my phone on charge will turn them off. |
