Can the Nest Cam IQ live stream?

I'm looking at purchasing an external camera to keep an eye on people walking up our drive.

I only need one camera so was thinking about the Nest Cam IQ.

The main thing I want it for is when I'm in my office (up the garden), I don't have a clear view of the drive or the front door so I end up missing people.

Is it possible to hook the Nest cam up to a tablet and have it on a constant live stream whilst I'm in the office?

Yes, technically it's not live as there is a small delay but it does have a live view.

I use my Google Nest Hub to display my Nest Hello doorbell camera for hours at a time, in fact it's displaying now and has been all morning.

On a phone or tablet you can set up a notification for motion or detection of people so you can also get a warning if someone's there. I have an active Nest subscription and there are limits on what you can configure without the sub (IIRC both setting up motion zones and detecting people are Nest Aware perks)

Interesting. I hadn't considered a nest hub. I'll have a look at one of those now.

Do you know if by logging onto my google home account on my PC if it's possible to view the live stream from there?

There is a web page you can use from a browser. I've only used it once or twice as I mainly use the Hub or app on my phone.

Bit the bullet and ordered one last night, just set it up and it's perfect. The browser has a picture in picture setting which is absolutely spot on.
