Come on Wes
The first film was a horror milestone, this is merely a Friday 13th rip-off !!! Don`t get me wrong. I enjoy a good stalk & slash, but not from one of the finest directors in the horror genre.. The first film raised many interesting questions about the resorts average people must come to in order to exact revenge: This sequel concerns a bunch of the most 80`s people ever going to the same location for an odd reason, and just getting picked off by cannibal types. Loads of flashbacks to the first film, which I feel is lazy on the part of the director.. Even a flashback by a dog, which was the highlight of the film for me !! A few good little scenes, but if you`ve seen one stalk `n` slash, you`ve seen `em all ! Sorry Wes, but we know you can do better than this !
