Summary. Chap gets hypnotised, sees dead girl occasionally,
solves her murder.
Whether this film was written before or after The Sixth Sense, there
is no denying that it is truly terrible. The reasoning behind
situations and why they are set up is non-existent (why for example
does the dead girl insist on turning the light out on the wife in the
cellar? Cheap shocks - thats why). The dialogue is also terrible
(Was the cop only there to deliver the unbelievably poor line 'Same
thing, better flashlight' when explaining why the son can see the
dead girl all the time?). Also, why doesn't the girl give a better
command than 'dig' on the cinema screen rather than allowing
him to waste his time (and ours) wrecking his garden? Probably
because this entire film is based upon a single, poorly thought
idea which is stretched to fill an unbearable amount of time. This
film neither entertains nor explores any original ground. Avoid.
