Hi folks, thinking of selling on my q acoustic speakers. Is it easy enough to send them through royal mail and how much would it cost ?     Any replies would be great .

Don't send by Royal Mail it will cost you a small fortune. Try DPD. I've just sent a 10kg package and prices start at £6.99 plus any insurance you wish to add. You print out your own label and take it to a drop off shop which includes Currys. There are other courier firms, City Link, et al, which I've also used.

Go to Parcel delivery | Cheap courier | Send a parcel | Interparcel
Add dimensions and weight and it will give you a variety of options, many will collect from your home.

Whoever you use make sure you photograph all sides of parcel before collection.

Good idea. I've never done. Perhaps I'm too trusting.

I recently sold a cheapo, relatively light but bulky subwoofer and used UPS.  Was a hell of a lot cheaper that what Royal Mail/Parcelforce were asking.

At a guess, I think you would be looking at just shy of £8 with I think up to £60 insurance. Extra can can be purchased for a few quid, depending on how much you need. That's based on buying UPS service through ebay at the end of an auction and dropping of at a UPS Access point although I think when I checked, prices were similar if purchased direct on UPS website.
