Samsung S10 plus bought in Mexico city

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Hope someone can help as ive searched all over and cant get a definitive answer.

I just want to know if a Samsung S10 plus bought in Mexico will work with my UK Sim.

Will there be any region lock or other issues?

My UK samsung s8 works fine here with Mexicans sims but will it be the same visa versa?

You need to ask in Mexico, it would depend on where you buy it. If you're buying sim free it will probably be fine, but if it's a network handset on PAYG or contract it might well be locked.

I'm no expert on this, but does network frequency also effect the ability for a phone to work in a specific country?

Network coverage in United Kingdom - 2G/3G/4G mobile networks

Looks like the 4G frequency is different for the Mexican network, so not sure if you can change it or it will automatically change over with a UK sim!
