Malware on android phone?

hi, hope someone can help...i'm at the end of my tether...
recently got a refurbished Sony Xperia XA1 ultra
all fine until i started getting phishing malware popping up when on sites via chrome.
i've gone through everything to remove them...
safe mode and deleted unknown apps
downloaded various virus cleaners who cant see anything wrong
tried cancelling/blocking notifications in chrome?

what else can i do, i'm pretty syure its something in chrome and google but i dont think i can delete these?
any thoughts?
