As the screen ratio continues to increase, the risk of broken screens of mobile phones is also growing, and it is broken when accidentally. And the price of changing a screen is too expensive, sometimes looking at the price on the repair order, think about it is better to buy a new mobile phone.

Was in that position....

Samsung galaxy s9, screen repair £220,or a few quid more to buy out current contract and get a new phone - went for a huawei p30, free phone, cheaper tariff and cheaper handset if I wanted to buy out again (O2 refresh), plus should be able to sell broken screen phone on ebay for a few quid which will bring the cost of my new one well under that of a screen repair

So in my particular case - better to buy new. I also like O2 refresh where you have 2 parts to the bill, handset and tariff - if you ever want to come out early you only pay the remaining handset cost and not the rest of the tarrif
