Yeah it depends on the phone obviously. If you’ve got one that only cost £200-300 new, and then you’ve owned that phoned for 2-3 years, then it won’t be worth anything and not cost effective as you say. But for me, I’ve got an iPhone XS which costs £1000 brand new, so £70-80 is well worth it. I also keep my phones in cases and have a glass screen protector, so my phone would be in good condition even when the battery gave up, therefore it would be cost effective for me to replace the battery.  |
