redmi 7a vs motorola one

so, i should get my mom one of these phones, which should it be?

is 2gb ram in redmi 7a good enough in a long run for a highly non demanding user?

she does like to keep her phone as long as possible.

i like moto's looks and hardware better, but like xiaomi's customisation, compact size, bigger battery.

do discuss, please.

the 7a looks like a great phone on papee, eith a big 4000mah battery, decent specs, however i would consider other Xiaomi phones, such as the 7 for not much more. the redmi 8 series will be coming out soon and prices of the 7 series should fall expectly.
