Alexa on my phone whilst driving.

I just discovered the joys of unlimited phone data combined with amazon music and alexa.

However..... whilst it works really well, my phone auto screenlocks (and i would rather not disable that) as well as i have to press a button in the amazon music app to wake alexa up.

Is there any way on mu phone (nokia 7.1 though i imagine it will be the same for most android phones) to make it work hands free so when i am driving i can just give the alexa command to play music, much like my amazon echo dot at home?

unlocking my phone and pressing the button seems a bit dangerous and is also possibly illegal so it spoils it a bit.
