Seems some people aren't happy it's a first-person perspective game.

I personally think it's better for it to be an FPS. I assume this game will take a lot of inspiration from Deus Ex so stealth will be a viable path to take. Third person doesn't work as well with stealth as it allows you to look around cover without exposing yourself, which for me removes a lot of the tension. Yeah, the Splinter Cell games are great, despite being in third person but they could have been better in first person.

Also, shooting just feels better in first person, compared to third.

Judging from the above posts, its an FPS RPG game with shooter elements.

It is an RPG set in the Cyberpunk 2020 world (which was a tabletop game back in the day) made by the developers of Witcher 3 (maybe the best RPG ever made).  That is why there is so much hype to the game

Surely it's absolutely impossible to judge whether it's overhyped as it hasn't been released yet, how do you know it's not underhyped?

Game is going to be amazing!!! Mix of so many good games and you know CDPR will set a new benchmark for graphics again. Can not wait.
