I'm thinking of treating myself to a wheel upgrade. I have a Logitech G920 and I hear the Thrustmaster T300 is a good upgrade. What is the big difference between the two wheels?

Are the standard T300 pedals ok if I mount them on my wheel stand?

I would probably wait if I were you, unless you want to buy now as its cheaper than what the release price will be.
There are still issues, but that's what EA is all about, so you have to accept that there are issues.
Its on release 0.4 and still needs a lot of work (at the moment its crashing/locking up for people).

If you can accept issues then go for it as there is still loads of fun that can be had. If you are easily frustrated then wait.

I play/have played most of the other sims, all of which have been through a similar process. I'm used to it and not easily frustrated by such things but at the same time I don't really need another one in my collection.

I noticed it's fairly good value at the moment so may be worth picking it up as a future prospect.

I picked it up the moment they added vr. I have not played it yet and am unlikely to until launch but at the time it was cheap and I bought it to support the Devs as much as anything else .
As a general rule I say wait till finished when buying games but in the case of ACC it's a bit different
There are 3 reasons I went EA

1)You are unlikely to spoil a racing game by playing early

2)The Devs did EA the right way by charging much less

3 (big one For me) the Devs are supporting niche hardware and the best way I can think for for them to see it is appreciated was to buy in the moment it was supported hoping they see a sales spike)

The beauty about the way this has been released in my opinion is that they are releasing one track and one car at a time (to begin with), which means I get to practice on a car and track I probably would never have picked if I had the choice of all tracks and cars at once.
I would probably never bothered with Zolder or Misano if given the choice, probably not bothered with the Bentley either, but glad I have.

I purchased this straight away and only tried it on the VR initial release but didn't have much joy in getting a good gaming experience, even with some of the edits needed on the graphics file.  I've not touched it since and wondered if VR clarity & performance has improved since the initial release?  

I can't recall where I made the edits & if I need to go back and reset the file (?), I think it was in the AppData folder (??).

To be honest I never had much trouble with the look of VR in the game (using the Rift), but did try the edits.
You can pause the game and mess around with the graphic settings on the fly and see the differences as you do straight away.

Build 0.6 is out 2.2GB and it’s worth it.
VR is smoother and the game feels more solid.
