Just downloaded the beta and as I expected, same girl but in a different dress.
Exactly the same game play as every other BF and goes a little like this...

Spawn miles away from the action
Run for 10 mins to get to action
get killed by a sniper camper who has 26 kills to 2 deaths
Repeat the above

The graphics are great (Geforce 1080) as is the sound, but then again so was BF1.

People are going on about the destructibility in the game and it is good, but strange too. For instance I stood next to a 3' square wooden box/crate. I put 1 bullet into it and it collapsed into matchsticks. Is that good? or lazy?

Not sure if I will get this or not, will have to play the demo for a little more first.

I loved it. There was something about it that was better than bf1, but I can’t explain why.

Same. It doesn’t just feel like a reskin of BF1 to me.

It seemed much more fluid in the movement of your player, moving over things etc.
The gun play seems better too.

Sounds to me like you are playing it wrong. Yes there are snipers but providing you don’t just stand still in the open as an easy target you should be fine. You don’t have to run far to get back in the action, especially if you are in a squad.

was sitting playing this over the weekend and enjoying it for the most part, will probably end up picking it up. Graphics are very nice though, although maybe a little too much for my machine it seems......

I got a pretty sever drop in FPS and then my PC switched off and wouldnt re-boot......then I started getting a serious burnt electronics smell.....

Initially I was convinced it would be the PSU, everything else in the system has been updated but the PSU is the same I bought 5 years ago - I was livid, its 4 months out of its 5 year warranty period.

Started fault finding and disconnected both GPUs and the system booted no problem. Tested them one by one and I could boot with one of them connected no problem, the other would stop the system from switching on. Also tested the 24pin connector with a PSU tester and all is well with the PSU.

Pulled out the GPU and it dosen't look good.......

Have since found out this is a known issue with these cards and there has been a program of issuing new BIOS updates to adjust the fan curve and add thermal pads.....nice of them to send an email to me about it when I have the card registered with them online......

That's the trouble with public MP though.
Most people just want to go 'lone wolf' and not play as a team.
It still suffers with snipers/campers (I know, its a part of life).
Ok, being in a squad is better, providing they play as a squad, but when all die you still have to spawn a distance away.
When you are not in a squad you appear to spawn nowhere near team mates and get spawn killed.
I did only play for 30 mins, so will give it another go.

The beta only has a few more days but when the game is out I’ll be playing on ts with mates, makes it loads more fun.

Especially when one (or two) of them rage.
