On the character select screen it gives you a time played for each character.

For instance my Amara is 25 hours played at level 39 and having just completed the normal playthrough. That was with a fairly "normal" playthrough doing quite a few side missions and exploring the maps a reasonable amount. I skipped the Killavolt quest as that is just a pain other than for Fl4k who has the pet to resurrect him if / when he goes down.

I've not noticed being significantly underleveled for any of the main quests. I may be a couple of levels under early on but usually catch up and then exceed them in the middle or towards then end. I've not had a message or anything ever give a warning about not being at a "minimum level" for a mission though.

Hope everyone is enjoying the game though - no real need to rush IMO. Game is going to be here for quite a while and it's not like there is anybody to really compete against. If anybody wants a hand with a particular boss let me know. I would have appreciated one vs:


Also if anybody is after specific gear for a build let me know. I'm happy to keep an eye out although I'm not exactly raining in legendaries atm.The Warden. That was me running in circles for forever slowly killing him with DoT's.

Enjoying the game but spending far too much time looking at weapon stats and then selling them on.

Spent 2 golden keys trying to get a decent weapon drop and just ended up with 16 epic shields.

Finally finished the main story line. Blimmin 'eck there's a lot of story and side missions! My Epic client says I've played 4 days   I'll admit I do alt-tab a lot to do other stuff but even so, that was a whole load of game.

I doubt it will be on sale for some time. A week ago they said it's sold over 5 million units and that's without the people that want to buy it on Steam and refusing to buy from the Epic store.

I remember back when Epic Game Store had their first sale and BL3 pre-orders were in it Take Two got that pulled pretty much immediately. It definitely doesn't seem like they were wanting to discount it at all and as DrinkTurps says given how well it has sold I can't see Take Two deciding it needs a price cut to sell more.

They have a month of in-game promotions atm which should keep interest high and then we get the first event, "Bloody Harvest" followed by the "Maliwan Takedown" and then the first proper full DLC for Christmas. You may see an official small discount in time for Christmas would be my bet.

I'm probably taking a bit of a break from it for a while. I've got both my Fl4k and my Amara to 50 and I'm not super fussed about either Moze or Zane atm. They are still patching some bugs and fixing the OP stuff. I'll be happy to come back once the game is a bit more balanced and so maybe the recent loot nerf may have been able to be reverted.

borderlands kinda reminds me of fallout as both are in postapokalyptic world
