Hi folks

have just had a new Mobo, i7 9700 and RTX 2080Ti.

Upon running games (eg COD MW, Planet Coaster, RDR 2); almost immediately the fans (I think on the GPU) start running at 100% so are crazy loud.

I’ve tried adjusting the curve on Afterburner but it’s made no difference whatsoever.
Before I send the machine back, van

What model RTX 2080ti do you have?

Also what kind of fan setup do you have running in your pc? (How many and where)

It's a Zotac Gaming 2080Ti.

Will need to check which fans - but with my 1080 they were never this active - or nosiy.

It would help if you told us what size fans the case has and where they are too. Along with what CPU cooler you're using.

The GPU you have seems to run the fans all the time, most have a way of tuning the fan curve for performance and noise.

My gigabyte RTX 2070 Super is quiet even when under load, and the fans only kick in once the cores are over 60 degrees.
