Thought I would pick some brains here. Just bought a 3DS XL with a Nintendo ID which the seller gave me.
I know you can't system transfer to a console with a NID but I may have the chance of getting an ambassador 3DS (no NID) and considered transferring the XL contents (around 13 games) to the 3DS merging with the ambassador titles and then transferring it back a week later.
However, is that possible? I presume the XL would be factory restored with the NID being on the ambassador 3DS then it would all be put back on the XL (wiping the 3DS) after 7 days had passed.
Is this a realistic plan or am I overlooking something here?
