This somehow got lost in the excitement of the Smash Bros Direct presentation, but two days later Nintendo announced they're bring the mad Japanese phenomenon Tomodachi Life to the UK. It's kind of like Sims plus Animal Crossing, with Miis and a whole lot of other crazy stuff going on. Take a Mii, customise their home, introduce them to friends, sort out their every whim.

The Direct that acompanied the announcement is honestly one of the weirdest/funniest you'll ever see coming out of Nintendo.

Another game I had forgotten about, a definite must have for me too. So glad it uses Street Pass, the perfect way of adding new residents.

I'm giving it a miss. I think its overpriced for what it is and it doesn't really get great reviews.

I picked this up today. Am finding it horribly addictive and very amusing. Not sure how long the novelty will last but it is great fun seeing family and friends involved in various shenanigans.

Certainly not as deep as something like the sims but I like that I can just dip in and out of it for short bursts. Although saying that I've been glued to it for the last 4 hours.......
