Petition to Immortalise Robin Williams in Zelda Game

For fans of the legend who sadly passed away earlier this week there has been an online petition set up to try and get NoA to name a character in the new Zelda game after the comic genius:

Robin had a huge love for the Zelda games, even going as far as to name his daughter after the princess.  It would be amazing to have him immortalised in the game, and if that happens I, for one, will be shedding a tear when I play the new Zelda game and meet a character named Robin Williams.

I refuse to idolize any man.

Saying that, they could make a character named Robin without ruining the immersion.  "Williams" is a name I doubt that would really fit the game.

No one is saying idolize lol.  Immortalise him in the game.  tbf he's immortalised in all his films and work he's done, having a character named after him in a series he loved would be nice though.  he evn appeared in a few ads for LoZ.

The petition, the news of his death and everything surrounding it imo is idolizing him.

Sure, I'll celebrate the good things he's done in his life.

No worries, I won't think any less of anyone who signs it.  I just have weirdly strict morals I only apply to myself and my kids until they are 18, lol.

Yeah but this will be in a game!!

You're absolutely right though and I did mention this in an earlier post so whether this happens or not he's already immortalised. It would be nice for it to happen in a game series he was so fond of and promoted too.

I'm fond of Zelda.  So I demand Link be renamed "Det" and that he use my current avatar for his face.

It would reinvent the series!
