nintendo and dlc

I'm really not into dlc since I come from the perspective of being a retro gamer and collecting games. dlc games aren't really going to be favoured with collectors because dlc and online services won't be available in years to come when this current generation becomes retro.
so with that in mind I am wondering if games like mario kart 8 will eventually be repackaged in a deluxe version with all dlc included on disc and a higher price.
any one have any news or official info which could hint to nintendo either doing this or not doing this with their games?

They haven't said anything yet about deluxe versions. They're only just dipping their toes in the dlc pond though so they might not be thinking that far ahead yet until they see how popular their content is. Would be good to see dlc packaged with the 'player's choice' range though (if Wii U/3DS get them).

They released Super Luigi U as a disc and as DLC so it is something they may have already thought of !!

I KNEW my knowledge of video games would come in handy one day !! I keep telling Mrs Tooms that this is useful stuff to know and thats why I can't remember the quantities to make Toad In The Hole but she just rolls her eyes !!

if it's just mewtwo they are thinking of including I might just get a copy of it now as its unlikely there would be any sort of premium deal. i'm kind of close to pulling the trigger on a wii u this christmas and I know i'd want a copy of smash if I go for it.

haha I pretty much know I am going to get one at some point, it's just a question of when.
the games released on the console has really impressed me in the last year.

Wasn't that disc release part of a console bundle though and didn't get an actual store release?

Seem to remeber that disc going for stupid prices last year.
