No link showing using ipad app??

I tried the demo of MH3 on WiiU and didn't like it. Didn't have a clue what I was doing. Does the retail version do more hand holding to get you into the swing of things? Can't help feeling I'm missing out but put off by the demo of 3.

I don't think it's a series that demos particularly well. The full game does a lot more to help you understand what's going on.
