Frustrated, help please. I’m sure it’s a simple solution but I’m not finding it.

Wii worked fine on different tv so wii is not the problem.

Blaupunkt tv with red green blue ports only.

official Nintendo cable gives black & white picture & no sound.

Purchased component cable with green,  blue, red (video) & red, white(audio). Plugging in green, blue & red we get colour but no sound (red & white audio have no where for them to go).

So tell me how do we get sound???

What's the model number of the tv? Or link to the product you have?

Edit: does it have scart input? You can get rca to scart adapters

3 RCA Phono To Scart Audio Visual AV Adapter TV to Wii XBOX 360 PS2 Playstation   | eBay

Should work

You need to use the separate 3.5mm audio jack(mini composite/AV cable) that goes into the AV input on the side which you then connect the red & white cables to(just ignore the spare yellow one on the jack)

No the Wii has all the wires it needs, you need the composite AV cable that was supplied with your tv to connect the two audio cables. (see the pics above of the manual)
You plug the white and red audio cables into the corresponding cables of the AV cable for your TV then plug that into the AV input on the TV(located under the CI Card In)

This is the cable your looking for

Connect red and white

to the red and white from your Wii Component cable.
Then connect the other end to the AV socket on the side

As an easier alternative, try a wii2hdmi box so you can just plug into hdmi with audio
