Retro Duo Portable---Is it Worth it?

Been thinking about buying an RDP to play classic SNES games on. Anyone have one or know what it's like? Heard some people say it shuts down if you shake it, others say its great. There's also the Supaboy. Which should I get? The toploader on the RDP looks like some kind of cute lil martian headgear.
