regarding INSTANTLIVECODES

I used instantlivecodes in February 2009 and I instantly received an e-mail.... 8:21pm
I didn't really read the e-mail as i was just expecting the code. After 5 minutes i was worried as hell and thought i'd been done so i sent an email @ 8:27pm I included the paypal payment details.
@ 8:30pm I received the following e-mail with the code..
I just had a friend who ordered on Thursday. He is still yet to receive his code.
It is my assumption that the automated system has a window to verify the e-mail address, if its missed it ignores the future e-mail validation. I believe that the guy running it doesn't necessarily monitor the system and this is what causes the unprofessional delays. I would guess that the inbox would be full of e-mails from happy customers so he might miss the ones he needs to sort out.
Basically human error is likely the issue, but the slow response in sorting the issues is not really acceptable. If it works then great but if is doesn't a paypal dispute is the most reliable option.

UPDATE:
With the theory about him not noticing the "problem" e-mails from the usual
validation e-mails I just got my friend to send and e-mail with a stand out
subject title.

In the e-mail he included the first e-mail details and the paypal details.
He also said that he would like a refund if not sorted. It was all done nicely
without sounding nasty.
Within 5 minutes of sending the e-mail he received the code. Overall I took
about 52hours, but had he followed the acknowledgement instructions he
may have avoided the wait.
I believe that once ordered you need to reply to the acknowledgement
e-mail within 10 minutes to receive your code.
Would anyone like to confirm this theory? |
