Question Switching a redeemed game code to another profile on same machine

Hi all,

On my daughters Xbox One I set up my profile and her profile, but i redeemed the Minecraft code against my profile instead of hers, so whenever she want to play it i have to put in my username and password and also it will be under my profile when she plays it.

Is there a way to switch this over?

If you set the Xbox as your gamer tags  home console she will have access to any games you've bought. I'm just not sure whether she'd have to sign in to the console herself every time though?

I don't think you're in luck. There's no way to transfer game licenses between profiles. Otherwise there'd be a used game market for digital games - we wish!

She would have to sign in to play the game under her gamertag, yes. But what you say is right, anyone can play the games you own on the console designated as home.

Thank you so much Munkey Boy! I never knew about setting it as my home, i have done this and she has instant sign in and it looks like it will work!
